China has begun reviving its volunteer armies in a significant effort to bolster its military capabilities as World War 3 fears grow.

Chinese companies have once again started creating corporate militias, something that was previously an issue in the 1970s. A CNN analysis of state media discovered that at least 16 major firms in the country have already established fighting forces, one of which is a privately owned dairy giant.

This suggests their economy is going to si*t and they need a place for millions of soon-to-be restless citizens.

They will end up creating their own Wagner warlord, or several, that will eventually destabilize the authority of the central government.

It would be significant to the USA, if we expected to invade China.

Militias are great for local defense. Not so much to project power.

Once upon a time, local communities held regular “militia musters” that all able-bodied men in the town were required to attend. Participants engaged in target practice, marching, small unit tactics, camping skills and first aid, according to what I’ve read about the musters.

Sure sounds like a good idea now. Random “solo” preppers with rifles won’t stop hordes of military-age Chinese invaders. But an organized town might.
