As for your later points, it has been obvious from the beginning that security camera tapes and blood chemistry analysis would be extremely important.

If there is a tape of her entering the water, as it is suggested, then there might be one showing she was mobile enough to enter the car on her own and not "helped". Blood chemistry will likely reveal whether she was under the influence of any disabling substance. An "autopsy" of the Tesla would also seem indicated in order to reveal any hacking.

I've met about 50 Taiwanese people in my lifetime, and none of them were sympathetic to China. And nobody drives their car into a pond on a ranch. This was a murder. Motive: unknown.
