Zelensky warns ‘millions will be killed’ without US aid to Kyiv, as Ukrainian troop deaths reach at least 31,000

“Millions” could die in Ukraine’s war with Russia if US lawmakers don’t approve President Joe Biden’s $60 billion aid request for Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told CNN on Sunday.

Asked by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins about a claim made by the US Senator J.D. Vance that the outcome of the war would not change even if Ukraine receives the money, Zelensky said he wasn’t sure Vance “understands what is going on here.”

“To understand it is to come to the front line to see what’s going on, to speak with the people, then to go to civilians to understand … what will (happen to) them without this support. And he will understand that millions … will be killed. It’s a fact,” Zelensky said.

“In a post war history book, Bullets by the Billion, about Chrysler’s Evansville, Indiana, plant we learn that between late June of 1942 and April 20, 1944, the Evansville plant made 3,264,281,914 (96% of all .45 ammunition made for the armed forces) rounds of .45 ACP ammunition.”

“Our border first.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

“Our border first” means a strong First Line of Defense before any threat even approaches America’s borders. Right?

And that “first line of defense” for America is... in Europe! America needs Europe as a buffer war zone against Russia in case Russia intends to follow through on its direct warmongering threats against America.

Biden and the Democrats are OK with arming and weaponizing foreign countries, but grabbing guns from Americans is an obsession w/ them. The same “Congress” that gleefully tramples Americans’ 2A rights is hell bent on supplying weapons to foreign countries. ComputerGuy wrote: the entire budget for the US Marine Corps is $52 billion.

Not content w/ the mega US billions already in his pocket, Zelensky now says
he wants US tax dollars to Ukraine “according to the Israeli model”......here’s what he means:

Congressional Research Service
US Foreign aid to Israel
60 page detailed report

https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/RL/RL33222/44

The concerned Israeli lobby made sure Congress is required by law to ensure that U.S. military aid in the Middle East region doesn’t damage Israel’s military superiority over its neighbors. That requirement enjoys broad bipartisan support and has served as a benchmark for ensuring Israel receives robust U.S. support.

Biden keeps gaslighting Americans about the “need” for
American foreign aid tax dollars to Ukraine and Israel.
Here’s why they DONT need it:

About $113.1 billion in tax dollars were authorized in 2022 for Ukraine, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. Most of it–about $67.1 billion–was defense-related. The other $46 billion included:
<><>$26.9 billion for economic support;
<><>$7.9 billion for international disaster assistance;
<><>$6.6 billion in assistance for refugees;
<><>$1.5 billion for assistance for Europe, Eurasia and Central Asia;
<><>plus $3.1 billion for other non-defense spending.

US tax dollars helped Ukraine
<><>pay the salaries of 618,000 educators, 517,000 health workers, and 56,500 first responders
<><>helped sustain critical healthcare services,
<><>helped meet pension responsibilities for 9.8 million people,
<><>assisted 1.3 million internally displaced persons,
<><>provided housing assistance to 4.1 million people,
<><>provided social assistance to 240,000 low-income families
<><>helped subsidize 480,000 persons with disabilities,
<><>bought supplies for farmers,
<><>financed finding markets for small business.

Backstory: Since 1973, Israel has received more than $120 billion US tax
dollars in MILITARY assistance alone, including “three special aid” packages.
<><>billions for signing the Israel-Egypt peace treaty
<><>billions for Israel’s withdrawal from the Sinai.
<><>billions for redeployment of Israeli forces
<><>rebuilding Israeli air bases in the Negev cost $5 billion.

Biden rushed this tranche of arms to Israel right after Oct 7.
<><>57,000 155mm artillery shells
<><>more than 5,000 Mk82 unguided or “dumb” bombs,
<><>more than 5,400 Mk84 2,000 pound warhead bombs,
<><>around 1,000 GBU-39 small diameter bombs,
<><>approximately 3,000 JDAMs, which turn unguided bombs into guided “smart” bombs,
<><>BLU-109 bunker busters w/ 2,000 pound warheads designed to penetrate concrete shelters.

Besides weaponry, Israel also receives economic and humanitarian foreign aid, which supports broad economic development and sociopolitical stability and can include non-military support related to the country’s pressing security needs.

Military aid from US taxpayers has blanketed Israel over the years. They have more than enough resources, now, to nail Hamas and Hezbollah. Wealthy Israel has very low debt, and actually had a budget surplus this year, while the US is $33 trillion in debt, a debt which future generations are saddled with.

He’s obviously lying for domestic purposes. Reality is closer to 30,000 a month (killed + wounded) over the past 6 months or so.

“The Army acquired the property in 1951 at the onset of the Korean War and converted the facility to manufacture artillery shells.

“Back then, the U.S. had 86 military ammunition plants as part of an industrial mobilization designed to meet wartime ammunition needs. Over the decades, the number of facilities dwindled. Today, the Pentagon has just five so-called “government-owned, contractor-operated” plants that supply the military with most of its conventional ammunition, propellants and explosives.”

“297,000 aircraft,”

Could that number be right ??

It just seems a bit on the high side to me.

How many pilots are they training...?

That will never happen again, even if they tried. They have de-industrialized far too much. In addition to that, the government forbade production of virtually all civilian goods. No cars, no radios, bicycles, boats, consumer or retail products of any kind. Every factory was converted over to producing war material, a rather large percentage going to the Soviet Union, Great Britain and other allies.

It is truly amazing what can be accomplished if the government truly wants to get something done, or prevent something from happening. Think about that the next time some assclown says “The border is secure”
