As Judge McAfee mulls whether to disqualify Fani Willis, prosecutors move to file an affidavit of Stanley Brody, a California winery employee.
Brody says he recalls Willis paying more than $400 in cash for a wine tasting in Napa Valley last year.
Brody’s affidavit, if admitted for consideration by Judge McAfee, could help corroborate Willis’s testimony that she tends to carry cash—and that she used cash to reimburse special prosecutor Nathan Wade for trips he booked on his credit card.
And if McAfee isn’t willing to admit the affidavit, prosecutors request that Brody be allowed to testify during the hearing scheduled for tomorrow, March 1, at 1 p.m
