The Church of England has sparked backlash after posting a job for an anti-racism official who will be tasked with the mission of “deconstructing whiteness”.
This week, the Church of England Dioceses in the West Midlands announced that it is looking for an “anti-racism practice officer” who will be paid £36,000 per year.
The posting stated that the position would entail identifying “internal and external resistance to addressing issues of anti-racism in a way that develops understandings of equality and positions everyone to take an equal role”.

The Brits have long had a reputation of using short sentences to express profound ideas. After reading the above, it’s obvious they have abandoned that practice and embraced the joy of long sentences which contain no content whatsoever. And the Church of England appears to be racing the Pope in a race to the bottom.
People have to stop going to these churches, going to these woke businesses, etc., etc. They will not give up until everyone stops associating with them. That’s what it’s going to take.
They’re looking to hire a thug.
I doubt they realize how hypocritical and self-contradictory they are being.
I think an addendum to the job description is in order.
In addition to “deconstructing whiteness” it should list:
driving away intelligent and self determining individuals
dividing the congregation according to race
and promoting general anti-Christian values = evil.
AS far as the CoE is concerned, hardly anyone goes any more anyway. They are mostly preaching to empty pews.
Deconstructing whiteness sounds racist to me.
Can you imagine the fallout if someone wanted to deconstruct some other victim demographic?

Years ago there were cremes sold in South Africa (and elsewhere,probably) that lightened the color of your skin. Given apartheid it’s almost understandable that such a thing would be sold there. I wonder if skin darkening cremes are being sold in Britain these days.
A few Afro-Caribbean types from the Commonwealth are also C of E, but it's a sure bet most of the new Britons are not joining the C of E.

True. Attended Sunday morning service at Westminster Abbey last spring. Hardly anyone there. Led by a female minister who made sure to mention racism and the Ukranian war several times. I will never, ever go back to England. It was the worst trip I’ve ever taken, by far. London is wildly expensive, and overrun with thirdworlders milling around Royals in their Ferraris and Lamborghinis stuck in traffic. No thank you.
The Church of England needs to be deconstructed. A good start would be to return to the Bible rather than wallowing in left wing propaganda.
