El Salvador has apparently fixed their problem. Now they have one of the lowest murder rates in the world.
Haiti? The skyrocketing murder rate is just getting started. I suspect any prisoners caught they will export to our southern border. We will be happy to give them "asylum", free room and board in a 4 star hotel and a monthly paycheck just for showing up.

If they are to become refugees, the most logical place to go to would be the country that shares the same island with them — the neighboring country of the Dominican Republic.
