The government said it would set out to find the killers, kidnappers and other criminals who fled. Government? What government?

I’ve read that during the rule of the Duvaliers’ Father Son succession , 90% or greater of the population was impoverished, illiterate, malnourished and constantly ill with preventable diseases of poverty. Yet have things measurably improved for Haitians since they left office?
Didn’t the Clinton foundation gather a gigantic amount of World donations for Haiti after that terrible earthquake? Did those funds have any lasting good effect for the people there?

They will be at our southern border within a week and all over the US in two weeks.

Perhaps the US government should fund more secure prisons for Haiti and El Salvador to control the gang problem better.

I don’t understand this. I thought the Clinton Foundation solved all of Haiti’s problems. Oh, wait…

Perhaps US income earners from countries with a gang problem should have to pay a federal gang control supplemental income tax.

El Salvador Claims Lowest Murder Rate In Decades Amid Gang CrackdownEl Salvador last year recorded its lowest murder rate in three decades, the government said Wednesday, hailing President Nayib Bukele's controversial war on gangs. A total of 154 murders registered in the country of 6.6 million people amounted to a rate of 2.4 per 100,000 inhabitants -- down from 495 murders in 2022, officials said.
The rate was almost a third lower than the world average as tallied by UN agencies.

Ha.
But we have to go on without Barbara Billingsley.
Maybe hire some Haitian Creole tutors like the LA school system requires for all immigrant students to have. Probably $55 million or so.

As the UN was asked to send a peacekeeping force to Haiti, leaders at the UN had to decide whether the women and girls in Haiti were worth raping.
