Long time satisfied WM store brand shoper. Stand alone stores for us, mall restrooms have become thug magnets.

I went into target the other day just to browse, for the first time. I wasn’t inpressed. They made walmart look like a bargain hunter’s dream. Their selection was very limited with a higher pricetag on the same name brand products.

I generally shop aldi for frozen veg, dairy and some meats. Their paper towels are excellent and a better price than others. Most of their brands are pretty deccent and they do carry some familiar brand names. They do have their share of lazy employees like everyone else which can make shopping a chore. Lazy as in hiding rotten produce behind the better stuff rather than carrying it to the back. Yep, I watched it happen. I tend to be a careful shopper so I can eat more like a king. I’m not a pop and junkfood person. I like to bake my own junkfood!

It’s way too expensive to food shop on line and I like to pick out my own fresh produce.

You'll end up paying more for food this way. EVERY food store depends heavily on impulse buying. That's why they stack aisles with protruding displays. When you order online, you can't really see the new or novelty or special-priced item. They will have to make up that extra profit somewhere.

If they add impulse buys repeatedly to the online order process, they will run the risk of clunkering their user experience and sending them scurrying to alternate sellers.

I tip when I can, Walmart gives you the option to tip or not tip at the end of your order list.
They also let you fill in the amount.

The tip, if you tip, isn't applied until 24 hours After delivery.
During that time you can change the amount or erase the amount altogether.

I never meet the driver on delivery so I don't tip personally either.
(Delivery is left on porch)

They also let you fill in the amount.

I prefer self checkout. I get through way faster.

Agreed but, they are taking the self checkout away

I just went to a Target in Fremont, CA and they closed the self checkout lane

I don’t have time for it anymore.

click, click, click and I’m done.

When I went to Walmart last week they line to get to a register was all they way to the entrance.

After I walked into the self checkout area thinking “those people are idiots” a clerk informed the self checkout was close permanently and they would be replacing them in two weeks with regular clerked lanes.

I left and went to a grocery store.

I don’t care about the cost.

I do care about availability and time.
