A subway rider was stabbed while trying to help a woman who was being harassed at a Bronx station overnight, police said – just hours after the National Guard was called in as part of desperate new crime-fighting measures for the city’s troubled transit system.
The latest underground attack was reported at 12:50 a.m. at the Pelham Parkway station on the 2 and 5 lines, according to cops.

Call in the national guard
If you’re going to be a Good Sam in NY, you better be packing.
They don’t need the national guard, they need the guardian angels, and they need to back off and let the angels handle crime their own way, and protect the angels from prosecution!
My very first thought, too. Isn’t it awful that we all simultaneously think the Good Guy is the one who will be arrested and charged in NYC? It really tells you a lot about NY and NYC governance and general rottenness.
Hochul is doing just that.

And you had better have a good lawyer on retainer. And you had better have lots of money to pay a high bail.
America is officially upside down. Criminals walk. Good Samaritans get jailed. That hero Marine on the NYC subway is a perfect example.
So unfortunately it’s now become a risk-reward kind of thing for anyone wanting to intervene. You’ve got to get past the criminal’s knife and then the local DA.
The criminal justice system in New York has collapsed. The NYPD, led by woke, political incompetents rarely investigates felonies or makes arrests. If they somehow do no bail laws put the felons back on the streets . Soros puppet DA Bragg does not prosecute and even if the felon is rarely convicted woke judges do not imprison.
