......But this was not a State of the Union address, it was a fascistic campaign rally of the kind that he had been giving for years, most disturbingly while flanked by Marines at Independence Hall before the 2022 midterms, declaring war on Trump, Republicans and all political opponents.
After accusing Republicans of being in thrall to Russia and then of being “insurrectionists”, he falsely claimed that they were preventing women from getting IVF procedures. (In reality, no one’s IVF procedures were threatened and Alabama rushed through a bill protecting IVF in record time .) That was then followed by attacking Republicans over abortion.
None of this material belongs in a State of the Union address which is not a campaign rally, but a presidential review of the year, and calls for bipartisan cooperation on national priorities. No president has ever delivered a deranged partisan hatefest of a speech like this at the SOTU.
Not even Obama ever went that far. Not even Obama violated the State of the Union’s norms.

As Daniel points out, Biden went far beyond what even Teh Halfrican did in his SOTUs. Is it possible that the robot has gotten out of Obama's control? Or did the puppeteer set this up to help justify canning him for....who? Inquiring minds.....

Biden and Democrats are in that awkward “which group is more important to my power?” stage. Traditionally, blacks on the Democrat plantation played that role, but they have progressed where they want far too much than Democrats will give them just for a vote. HISPANICS and other third worlders. Much cheaper - simple entry here is enough in many cases and then some government freebies along the way, without the 400 years complaint thing every time someone doesn’t get enough Chicken McNugget sauce or something.

So, I was not the only person who thought this rant was a little out of line and over the top.
Joe Biden was juiced to the hilt and all the crazy bled through. No inhibitions, no filters, just all Joe coming through like a runaway freight train. Cringeworthy to the hilt.
Trump is at least entertaining when he goes into a freewheel. And there is a point to PDJT’s ruminations.
SOTU Biden showed-off that he’s now a fiery “fighter,”
a screaming, angry “leader of limitless accomplishments.”
So what happened to the kind, gentle doddering bereaved oldster Special Counsel Hur told us about?
Hur said THAT Biden was so forgetful, too nice and no one could possibly hold him accountable for mishandling boxes of US classified documents.
THAT Biden....... who undermined the safety and security of American Families with complete impunity....... has now “morphed” into a “trusted beacon of Democrat leadership” with just one speech.

Brandon views himself above the office. He is a lifelong Democrat irritant, and has remained such even in the Whitehouse. To him the job is more like being a thug like union presiden.
In my view Daniel still missed the point. The hateful and vindictive speech was Biden’s last hurrah. He was getting all his hatred and failure off his chest and off his mind (remaining mind). The speech was not a State of the Union but rather a whining admission of defeat.
