I agree, but mainly because of Trump’s coattails, as his “Mexican Vacation” alone otherwise would have likely turned off enough of his voters to put the seat in play.

The new RNC leadership said they want to Harvest votes. We need to stop attack each other. If a Senator is 85% in agreement with our views, he is still called a RINO. I think we need to stop that. If a Republican has a lifetime score of less than 50, yes he is bad, but if a Senator is for lowering taxes, gun rights, school choice, border security, helping homeless veterans but supports gay marriage, some of you would call him a RINO. We won't get any Republicans that scores 100%!

On Free Republic, most Republicans are criticized as being too liberal or deep state or RINO types. Heck, some Freepers say they will sit out the election if Trump picks the “wrong “ running mate.
Our choices in elections may not always be ideal, but we still have a choice when we go vote.

To much name calling, especially if they are for gay rights. To me, that's not an issue this year. We need Trump supporters elected...if candidate A is for Trump and everything he stands for, but he worships the tomato as God, I will vote for him, especially if the other candidate is a Marxist!
