The Biden campaign released an ad Monday that features out-of-context remarks by former President Donald Trump about the “bloodbath” that will occur in the American auto industry if President Joe Biden wins reelection.
The ad is the Biden campaign’s latest effort to seize America First policy and spin it into an anti-Trump narrative.
“The Trump campaign can try to spin all they want, but the context is clear: their candidate has spent every moment since his first campaign encouraging and excusing political violence,” Biden campaign spokesperson Sarafina Chitika told Politico. “Repeatedly. It’s not a bug, it’s a feature of Donald Trump’s extremism. We take Trump at his word — and voters will too.”

I dunno... this sure looks like a serious jumping of the shark to me. I talked to a few folks who wouldn’t normally vote R but even they were very frustrated that Bye-Done would be pushing something that was taken so far out of context, it was an obvious lie.
It will not work. Trump is gaining black voters in Chicago. Illegal Immigration should be constantly hammered by all Republicans running. And Trump should campaign in the inner cities overrun with illegals.

I’ve been a forever Trump support and remain so steadfastly.
It is frustrating to see the lame stream media support and run with dishonest comments from the Dems. I realize they will do this and am still searching for the best way to respond to it.
I recall G.W. Bush chose not to respond and was hammered mercilessly, driving his numbers down. While he won two terms, this may have affected down ticket Republicans and it may surely have help Obama glide to two terms.
I admire that Trump counter punches reflexively. I am pondering the effects of Dem dishonest attack ads on the many low information voters and how best for Republicans to respond. I don’t believe these ads change the minds of Trump supporters but do they affect the infrequent voters whom Trump reached to help him win in 2016?
Biden’s campaign and his allied campaign orgs are flush with cash to run this propaganda nonstop from now until election day. Our side has far less money. We needed to be on the air immediately to put them on the defensive for lying. Instead, there will probably be no counter narrative at all.
