There's a Democrat Party modus operandi I've seen play out multiple times throughout my years of writing about politics: Democrat politicians and their lapdog media staunchly support and defend one another — until they don't. Once they smell blood in the water, it's under the bus for the previously defended.

If Sotomayor retires, Biden might be pressured to pick another Hispanic. Or he might use it for another first (first Asian, first Muslim, first ex-con, first illegal alien, first openly gay male, whatever).
She's not! She's an arrogant black racist woman with a huge chip on her shoulder. The judge has allowed her to proceed but with a new prosecutor. Her lover-prosecutor has already stepped down. Unless another court or the state of GA intervene, there's nothing to stop her from her continued prosecution of Trump.
