Maybe the people should step up and stop electing them term after term after term.

potentially hurt fundraising.

That's all it's ever about. The sack of crap go to D.C. on a government salary and are all millionaires within a couple of years. Tell me they are engaged in any honest dealings.

Maybe some form of “rotating” term limits would be a better idea. Cant hold a public office after a term (or two) but if you did a good job you could always run again next time around.

We don’t need no steenkin’ “term limits”. We’ve got all the RINOs quitting on their own.

This guy is a real POS. You would think being as old as he is, he’d want to get right with God, but money and power are his god.

Ah, McButthole keeps sinking to lower and lower levels. After this POS assumes room temp (hopefully, very very soon) , publish the location of the grave site so that we can visit and take bodacious Obamas on it.

Mitch is the reason for term limits to be imposed.

Term limits make it harder to sell their offices to the Chinese.

Need term limits for the bureaucrats...and need to require Congresscritters spend at least 50% of their time in their district...and live there

Technically I believe that term limits should be applied to all FedGov employees, appointees, and elected officials with the exception of very low-level job positions. The idea is to eliminate all the little ‘kingdoms’ that exist under the umbrella of GSA that answer to no one and enjoy unlimited power. Working for the FedGov should not be a lifetime endeavor.

I wouldn’t mind losing one of my Senators, Mitch McConnell, but I wouldn’t want to lose my other Senator, Rand Paul.

Term limits are long overdue.

Without term limits, congressmen get disproportionate power based solely on seniority! That explains why districts don’t want to get rid of their congressman, even though they are from a Party they oppose (with policies they do not agree with).

That disproportionate power, ‘brings home the bacon’—at the expense of the entire country.

Report: Mitch McConnell Urges Republicans to Oppose Term Limits

_______________________________________________________

Of course he does! Think of how much riskier it would be for a corporation to INSURE that it had totally bought off a new representative of the people every couple of terms. That would introduce a lot of uncertainty into the lives of US elites.

Term limits? Who cares. Repeal the 17th amendment and restore control of the senate to the states. The founders understood the 4th check and balance, the states control of the senate. McConnell and Schumer are precisely why this was necessary and why the 17th needs to be repealed.

The major plus side of term limits no more Biden types raping the system and screwing over the tax payers.

Just think of the loss of acts of treason alone makes it worth it.
