We are now ~41 years on from Ronald Reagan's Evil Empire speech. He was right, but the left lambasted him for being divisive and imprudent. Now that the wall has come down and the USSR is no more the left characterizes Russia as the biggest boogeyman in the world. I'm not defending Russia, or Putin, but Russia was a much bigger threat to the world then - when the left was all in for appeasement (or overtly pro-Soviet).
Now the left is calling for the equivalent of ‘regime change’ by getting rid of Bibi in Israel, while also saying we need to be diplomatic with Hamas. What does this tell you about the left (rhetorical)?
