Belgium is a nice looking country but those people can’t drive worth a darn. Luxembourg looks more like a Country Club than a country, amazing. I think it still has the highest per-capita income, which I assume is due to it being a world banking center.
I was in Luxembourg City on New Year’s Eve in a huge crowd and it felt perfectly safe, no misbehavior at all, just thousands of happy people. Tiny Luxembourg also has over 300 monuments to Allied soldiers, by the way. I was present for color guard ceremonies at some. Watched old men and women crying over American soldiers, unforgettable.
