Mary Kennedy had previously found RFK Jr’s secret diary detailing dozens of his affairs.
If a wife driven first to booze and pills and then to suicide isn’t enough to take down a presidential candidate — and I’m aware that these days that maybe it isn’t — then I’m not sure what would anymore.
What I’m forced to wonder though is, if Kennedy’s candidacy is such a threat to Presidentish Joe Biden’s reelection, why they haven’t brought out the big gun against him.
Theories?
To be fair I think it would be impossible to resist Lee Remick or Kim Novak in their prime. Both are unequivocally Not Guilty.
This article is stupid. All the things about his relatives are irrelevant. He has plenty of skeletons in his own closet.
That’s already fully public.
IMO what they are more likely to have on him is some sort of deal from his drug days.
Of course, the wife supposedly committing suicide and the Kennedy shenanigan’s with her burial afterwards isn’t pretty either.
But the only thing I imagine could have got the threat of prison is his drug stuff.
Ah, the leading Dims may actually like RFK and don’t care about his ruinous philandering, but know/knew those truths would ruin his candidacy in the general election. So what do the leading Dims do? They just try to ignore him, less they have to admit what theyve known all along and never challenged him about. How can they, they defended BJ Clinton forever.
Trump does better with RFKJR on the ballot. Leave it to Republicans to trash him and hurt Trump.
While not supporting their kin politically, maybe the Kennedy clan doesn’t want their family name dragged through the mud again. And they probably know where a few bodies are buried. Not to mention the parallels with Hunter being awkward.

Trying to make sense of this. Surely the author meant fidelity.
He made all kinds of charges against her — charges that were terrible for her if true, terrible for him if not. It wouldn’t surprise me if he did goad her into it.
He had her body dug up from the Kennedy family plot and buried elsewhere in the cemetery. The story then was that the family was planning to buy 50 more plots in that area. That was a dozen years ago. It wouldn’t be impossible to find out if they went through with that.
There’s nothing to like about any of the Kennedy’s. Same goes for all of the Clinton’s.
There were a ton of articles in the FR archives about his personal issues - but he seems to have gotten his personal life together in recent years so I elected not to document them in this list.
