At least seven children between the ages of 12 and 17 were wounded in a mass shooting in busy downtown Indianapolis late Saturday night.
Officers were on patrol just after 11 p.m. when they heard gunshots near the Circle Centre Mall, a shopping plaza downtown, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department told Fox 59.
After rushing to the area of West Maryland Street, officers located a “large group of juveniles,” including six with gunshot wounds, Police Deputy Chief Tanya Terry said during a Sunday morning news conference, according to CNN.

I don't think 12 to 17 years old "kids" hangin out "at the mall" at 11 p.m. and getting shot could be considered "children". BTW: Where were their sperm and egg donors?
It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting.
I'm not a law enforcement officer but it was immediately clear to me what "led to the shooting." Chimps with guns down at the mall at 11 p.m. on the night before Easter.

Are malls regularly open at 11p.m.?
I haven't been to any of the local malls for quite a while, but when I did frequent them, they all closed at 9.
If those malls are actually open at 11, this sort of action sure as hell shouldn't surprise them.
