Very simple response if I’m running an oil company. Cut off Vermont.

The benefits to mankind from the use of fossil fuels are a billion times higher than any “damages.”

The greeniacs doing this should be sued $100 billion for trying to stop fossil fuel usage.

They are begging the gas stations to move out of Vermont and their residents fill up out of state. I guess that’s do-able, since the entire state of Vermont is about as large as a few counties in other states.

When do we get the individuals in Legislatures to pay us for the damage they cause?

Contest it in court, where you can prove there’s no man-made climate change.

Vermont was not one of the 13 states that formed the original USA.

“summer flooding and damage from other extreme weather”

Are the idiots saying Vermont never in its history suffered occasions of major flooding???

“The Great Vermont Flood of 1927, November 3-4. The flood of November 3-4, 1927, stands as the greatest natural disaster in Vermont history. Devastation occurred throughout the state, with 1,285 bridges lost as well as countless numbers of homes and buildings destroyed and hundreds of miles of roads and railroad tracks ...”””

“Nader Hashim”

Sounds like he is descended from that good old hardy New England stock that came across on the Mayflower. He needs more hashish oil to cope with life.

And then there was the all New England Great Rainstorm and Flood of 1869.

Every article I see about this, I say the oil companies should just cut off the state. No gas, no heating oil, no natural gas. Vermont has lots of trees and they can ride bikes. Good luck….
