A federal judge admonished a Jan. 6 rioter during his sentencing Wednesday after the man downplayed the severity of the riots and his violent conduct.
“This cannot become normal. … We cannot condone the normalization of the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot,” Judge Royce Lamberth said during the sentencing of Taylor James Johnatakis, CNN reported.
Johnatakis, a self-described “sovereign citizen,” was found guilty of assaulting a police officer and other felony and misdemeanor charges related to the riot, and he was sentenced to seven years in prison. After his conviction last year, he repeatedly downplayed the riots in interviews, calling the riot “overblown” and his prison accommodations a “gulag.”
Lamberth warned that future political violence may be possible if the country does not learn lessons from Jan. 6, warning of a “vicious cycle … that could imperil our institutions” resulting in “vigilantism, lawlessness and anarchy.”

The first thing a corrupt bureaucracy does is to protect itself with brutal force when it behaves badly. The worse the crimes of the state, the worse the punishment of those who ask for remedy and justice.
This corrupt stupid lying piece of sh*t Federal Judge did not punish *ANYONE* during the massive widespread riots in Washington DC on January 21, 2017, so he is just a liar.
They burned down buildings, assaulted police, burned cars, and threatened mayhem.
No punishment for any of them, yet people walking through a building get years in prison?
There are two systems of law in DC, and that is what should not be allowed to become normal.
Lamberth needs to go to prison, as do all the prosecutors and arresting officers who violated these people's civil rights and rights to a fair trial.

The judge means white conservatives who didn’t spray paint or burn down anything must be held accountable to the highest standards. While BLM did over two billion dollars worth of damage and killed more than a dozen people. And I don’t mean they had ‘heart attacts’ three weeks later... I mean murdered.

I think the judge just said they can’t allow anyone but Democrats to riot. So BLM and ANTIFA are ok.
They supported the law not to provide justice to victims but because anything that threatened "public order" is a threat to the state.
Antifa or BLM rioters don't bother them because they are allies of the state in two senses. First, they attack enemies of the state (us). Second, any disorder they cause leads to, you guessed it, calls for more state control, just like Rittenhouse's defense of himself and others lead to a sham prosecution and calls for gun control.

Glad that Johnatakis got hammered for assaulting police officers and egging on the crowd to break through barriers and he and two others did so.
