Apparently there were 2 million blacks in South Africa at the beginning (pretty much all their lack of technology could handle in that big territory), but when The White Man came, he organized them, and then The White Man needed much more labor...and the rest was history (25M at the end of Apartheid, 45M people today).

First of all, prior to the ANC taking over RSA, the military was stationed on the borders, to guard against ILLEGAL ALIEN INVASIONS.
Secondly, the RSA would NOT accept all ( nor even one plane load) of our damned ILLEGAL INVADERS.
Thirdly, THE POLICE SHOT THE RAPISTS BECAUSE THE RAPISTS OPENED FIRE ON THE POLICE....FIRST!
There was a time when the vast majority of comments on FR were written by posters who knew what they were talking about AND in great depth!
Also, those who were wrong, often admitted that and thanked the person who posted the facts.
Yes, it's true, their minds ( what little of it exists ), are made up...even/ESPECIALLY when they know nothing whatsoever about the topic, but by gum, they claim to be the ones who are "RIGHT"! :-(
I agree. When I first came aboard, one could take as gospel what was posted. Now? Very little of what is posted I give credence to.
The fact is...the police almost NEVER EVER go into these areas, even though they KNOW how bad/criminal the people are. These are LAWLESS places and all black.
Now, almost ALL ( if not all ) police departments are comprised of black people. And for many decades ( thanks to "Saint Nelson" and the ANC ), most black criminals are left to do what they do.
Long ago, there was a small group of us, on FR, who were either from RSA or had family living there. We used to go on to threads about that nation to post the FACTS.
Most have left, I'm still here, as are a VERY few others; but we act on our own now.
And the kidnapping and fatal shooting of the kidnapped girl, in America, should NEVER have been brought up on this thread!

This thread deals with a serious topic.
Most people in the Western World know very little to NOTHING at all about RSA...its factual history, its politics, nor what it's like living there today, no matter what race one is.
It would behoove you and many others, to pay attention to comments which attempt to enlighten you, so that you no longer remain ignorant.
Most T.V. shows are pure, unadulterated FICTION, which have very little to NOTHING at all to do with REAL life. Using one ( or more ) to reference what is or should happen in real life is witless; to say the least.
And FYI...I have a marvelous sense of humor;unlike petulant, puerile you. GROW UP!
I don’t know the history either way, but what you say does make sense.
Then, much later, I wound up having extended family in RSA, who were kind enough to send me quite a few books about the history of RSA, as well as telling me lots of family stories, that go back to when the family first arrived there, several 100s of years ago. And ever since then, I have read RSA newspapers on line and DO keep up with what's been going on there from people LIVING there; as now it's "personal".
So when I post something, here, about that nation, I post FACTS.
