We should also understand the legal basis for rape in the Islamic Law.
One reason for the international community to avoid the issue of Hamas rape is that it is actually Islamic Law to rape captured women. Here is Ali Sina with a quote from the Hadith of Bukhari.

Muhammed did not forbid raping the captive women. Instead he made an asinine claim that when Allah intends to create someone, nothing can prevent it. He told his men that coitus interruptus is ill-advised because it would be an attempt to thwart the will of Allah. He did not say a word against the rape of the captives, and by discouraging coitus interruptus, he supported forced insemination.
He made even his god legitimize intercourse with women captured in wars, the so-called “right hand possessions,” even if they were married before their capture.

In further reply, may I reference posts 1 and 19 in the thread “Antony Blinken Accuses Israel of Trying to ‘Dehumanize’ Palestinians - Followup” ( https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4221087/posts ). In addition the UN has found that Hamas is committing sexual violence against the hostages in an ongoing fashion. Post 19 deals with the legal basis of rape of captive women in Islam. Since their Prophet is the model of behavior, such rape is encouraged and considered normative. As their Prophet is the “Seal” of the Prophets, no changes or amendments can be made by Muslims to their law.
In the past few months some videos of rapes by Hamas have been made publicly available. One even has what appears to be Arabic chanting in the background. In many cases the backgrounds are well furnished flats. In one case the depravity clearly takes place in a high rise apartment building. It is a mockery to consider they are supposedly living in refugee camps. Also, note the sarcastic and insulting nature of the videos.

You have to give Mohamed credit. If you’re going to spread your religion by the sword you need soldiers. What better way to get young military age men to join up than to tell them they can rape every woman they can capture and hey, if you get killed you go to paradise where you will have an unending supply of nubile young virgin to cater to your sexual desires. That would be a probably be a pretty motivating argument for a lot of bored 18-25-year-old guys living out in the desert somewhere to get on their horse and ride. They probably could care less about religion, but some hot sex, sign them up.

Like many other evils in the world, unrestrained mistreatment of captured enemies has been around throughout human history. So I don’t blame Islam for starting it. However, more than any other major religion their scripture certainly condones it the most. The reason is obvious. The “prophet” who wrote their scripture was a horrible wicked man.
May the Israelis exterminate them. Why take chances?
It is not merely a question of Islam condoning rape and mass rape. Their religion prohibits what it claims is evil, and encourages what it claims to be good. Clearly it encourages the mass rape of all female captives, unlike every other legal system. To be a good Muslim, you are practically required to rape them. Historically the Muslims have made sex slaves of tens of thousands of women and returned some decades later with the offspring having formed a new Muslim army.
Since Muslims consider their religion's founder to be the Seal of the Prophets, they cannot change their laws. It is their law, unchangeable and in action, that is so offensive to modern civilized minds.
