Resignations Rock South Korea’s Conservatives After Landslide Midterm Loss

Multiple senior members of conservative President Yoon Suk-yeol’s administration and the head of his People Power Party (PPP) tendered their resignations on Thursday after vote counts confirmed that the left-wing Democratic Party decisively took over the National Assembly in Wednesday’s midterm election.

The Democrats overcame a chaotic campaign season in which leader Lee Jae-myung survived a would-be assassin stabbing him in the neck. The day he was released from the hospital, three members of his party defected, protesting that Lee was running an authoritarian and corrupt “regime” within the party. Lee was in court on Tuesday for a hearing addressing criminal charges in which he stands accused of bribery and other corruption during his term as mayor of Seongnam.

I think cheating is rampant everywhere——I believe the Democrats in the USA will “miraculously” win everything this fall....because of “abortion” (which I believe is their cover for cheating).

P. J. O'Rourke's book Holidays in Hell details how bad the political system is in South Korea and how crazy the Koreans get during political turmoil.

Nothing new under the sun.

Thought Taiwan was worse. Might be the Asian temperament.

Why would anyone vote for someone named Yoo Suk?

My son is confused why the demoncrats are so into abortions. I told him they are the people of death to infants. I can see in his head, but why? My question also is, but why?

Politics in South Korea is very tempermental and expectations always very much exceed reality.

Moloch worship, or child sacrifice has been around since the beginning of time. Remember, we are (all of us) inherently evil at heart and Christ is our Savior from this natural bent to all who earnestly follow.

I believe two things for child sacrifice:

1-—We are all God’s creations and God speaks of a “child like” faith. So attacking and killing a child is their way of “getting back at God”. They hate God and destroying children is their way in being defiant against God.

2-—They believe they’re keeping souls out of heaven. I don’t believe this as in Romans 1 there must be an actual desire to deny Christ. Small children do not have that capability.

Anyway, that’s my take on it.

There used to be regularly broadcast fist-fights in both the South Korean and Taiwanese legislatures. They were nearly as entertaining as hockey fights.

“Why would anyone vote for someone named Yoo Suk?”

Why do people alter the truth to act funny?

Let me guess, they used voting machines and/or mail-in ballots.
