A Chinese immigrant who is running for U.S. Congress slammed far-left gun control activist David Hogg this week at gun control debate, telling him that he needed to go to communist China to see what the impacts of total gun control are.
Lily Tang Williams, who is running as a Republican in New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District, confronted Hogg on Wednesday at Dartmouth University.
“I am a Chinese immigrant who survived communism,” she began. “And under Mao, 40 million people were starving to death after he sold the communism to them. And 20 million people died, murdered, during his cultural revolution.”
“So my question to you, David, is that can you guarantee me, a gun owner, tonight, our government in the U.S., in D.C., will never, never become a tyrannical government?” she asked. “Can you guarantee that to me?”
“There’s no way I can ever guarantee that any government will not be tyrannical,” Hogg admitted. Advertisement
“Well, then the debate on gun control is over because I will never give up my guns,” she responded. “Never. Never. And you should go to China to see how gun control works for dictatorship of the CCP.”
Another Chinese immigrant who has spoken out against communists, Xi Van Fleet, responded to the viral clip on social media by writing: “David Hogg you need to learn some real history from survivors of Communism.” Advertisement
Williams later responded to the clip, writing on X: “I love to see more open discussions & debates on our college campuses. Even though I disagree with David, but we shook hands at the end respectfully. I urge him to do some research on Mao’s Red Guards. I am hoping someday, he will get it.”

I think David Hogg would be OK if the Biden administration killed off all the boomers Gen. X and millennials because after all, that age group are the evil ones to Hogg. They want to defend themselves.

The writer is correct to a point. those who would elect biden are a threat.
The problem is, he wasn’t elected.
My experience is that liberals are incapable of learning. They can know history. They can watch it happen to their fellow man. They can have the government openly admit to what they are doing and liberals don’t learn.
But who do you blame most - the citizens or the media that misinform them of everything that happens?
The citizens who were too lazy to go around the lies.
Don’t make any mistake thinking that a leftist, liberal, ‘feeler’ whatever cannot be an intensely cruel and violent person. We see it news reports every day how those of the left are responsible for all sorts of murders like pushing on subway platforms, beating with rocks and other implements and promulgators of all sorts of left-justified punishments.
They are no different than the German people in the 1930s that endorsed and brought in Hitler. Their elite (our politicians and protestors) would become the jack-booted SS and Gestapo thugs in a heartbeat if given the chance, and if they get that chance kneel their detractors and other-think opponents down beside a ditch and blow their brains out with one of those guns only they know how to handle responsibly.
