I knew two men whose wives did something like this. Both men tried to save the marriage and the women ended it. My guess is that a woman who does this is ready for divorce and is looking for a new branch to land on.

There are people who have open marriages. I've never understood it, but never wanted to get close enough to understand why people do that kind of think.
