The G7 leaders, representing the countries with most of the world's wealth, convened a special video conference on Sunday, following the Iranian attack on Israel.
During the meeting, the members decided to use all possible channels of influence, to prevent Israel from launching a retaliatory attack against Iran.
Charles Michel, President of the European Council, said that " We unanimously condemned Iran's unprecedented attack against Israel. All sides must show restraint. We will continue all our efforts to work towards de-escalation. Ending the crisis in Gaza as soon as possible, notably through an immediate ceasefire, will make a difference."
Ahead of the meeting, US President Joe Biden said that the leaders of the G7 countries "will coordinate a united diplomatic response to Iran’s brazen attack.”
Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, added: "This is an inexcusable attack, it is a serious escalation of the situation. It is in no way acceptable, understandable, or acceptable. We can only warn everyone, especially Iran...

Somehow these clowns never seem able to cobble together a coalition to pressure Israel’s enemies to just stop attacking them. Weird how they can make it happen to pressure Israel though. Seems like it’s only one way. /s
The right wing talk guy I listened to today has a theory. By the way, the station always starts his time slot with “the views expressed on this show do not reflect and are the result of an endorsement by this station, its ownership, management or sponsors.”
He thinks the revelations of strengths and especially weaknesses in the signal monitoring, tracking, anti-missile systems and the methods of coordination of counterattacks by Israel, the US and allies are the deliberate reason for the Iranian attacks. He thinks Netanyahu agreed to not attack if the Iranians restricted the attacks to non civilian targets and kept casualties low. Iran agreed.
He says the gaps and weaknesses include most of the incoming missiles and drones getting through to Israel which depended on the system working far better.
Plus so many defense weapons were used up Israel is now open to Hezbollah, PLO and further Hamas attacks soon.
I hope he was wrong.

It would make sense only in the case that Biden and all those clowns will do the retaliation themselves and Israel would mess them up somehow.
I am quite sure that this is NOT the case.
The “powers that be” hate Israel - and only coddle Islamists because they are useful tools to keep the world destabilized.
These “G7” leaders know that if Israel steps up to do what should have been done decades ago - it would strike a major blow to Islamists around the world who are funded by Iran... their useful idiot Satan-cultists would no longer have the $$$ to be useful.
Oh - and never mind that if Israel were to “take care of business” - oil prices would dramatically rise (at least for a while)... torpedoing Biden’s reelection...
Unbelievable. If any of those countries had over 350 missiles, rockets and drones shot at them they would have already retaliated. But no, poor ole Israel is not allowed to defend itself. Words escape me....
When a cop shows up at a disturbance, all he wants is for the disturbance to stop. He doesn’t care who did what or what the story is. He’ll threaten the sane person with arrest because the sane person doesn’t want to be arrested. So the sane person has to knuckle under to the crazy person. This is the same thing but on a national scale. “We can’t let a fight happen. Somebody might get hurt! We might have to do something.” (The horrors!)
