In this particular example, I didn’t have a direct hand in his banning.... but I did warn him that when I set my sights on getting a troll banned, it usually happens.

I sent an endorsement of his banning back about two months ago, to all the mods and even Jim himself. I like to think I have a nose for trolls, and that the Free Republic powers appreciate my efforts to rid the forum of Stealth Leftists.

I sincerely hope his banning is permanent.

I have tangled with several and got myself in the timeout box for language responding to them. The timeout was rightfully imposed.

That said, I will continue to call them out...just without the colorful language which truthfully was uncalled for.

You of course could be right. But on the other hand, their politics may not be as embedded as we believe. And they truly could decide based on the evidence presented.
