A Jewish Yale University student journalist reporting on an anti-Israeli protest at the Ivy League school Saturday night was stabbed in the eye with a Palestinian flag – while her assailant has gone unpunished.
Sahar Tartak, the editor-in-chief of the Yale Free Press, was covering the protest – which saw hundreds of students camping at the campus in support of Palestinians – when she was suddenly surrounded by demonstrators.
Tartak said she and a friend were singled out for wearing Hasidic Jewish attire as the crowd formed a blockade around them to interfere with their filming.

Something ironic about it. Actual eye damage is symbolic.
Our Bible has references to an eye for an eye.
Matthew 38-39
Leviticus 24: 17-22.
The entire region’s families and countries had believed in blood vendettas and ongoing escalations of tribal and family battles of seeking revenge.
To limit the carnage to just equal measures such as an eye for an eye meant to scale down the fighting.
And, to my lifelong sadness, Vengeance Is Mine Saith the LORD.

Looks like the Ivy League leads the way in our civilizational suicide.
OMG. I pray that his sight is spared.
Hopefully they can identify the assailant and arrest him for assault. But it’s probably not wise wearing Hasidic accoutrements when going to these protests. That’s like wearing a MAGA hat and going to a Black Lives Matter protest.
Hopefully, the perp will be found. Found having being administered appropriate retaliation. Found not breathing.
