A passenger car with seven people crashed in Delaware County, PA, while fleeing from State Troopers. The occupants are believed to have stolen items from the Glen Mills, PA, Lululemon. This is out in the country, over twenty miles from Philadelphia.
The driver allegedly hit 110 mph after he saw the police. Then he lost control and crashed into a guard rail.
Isaiah Miller, 20, Ikeam Rogers, 20, Kalyn Billups, 21, Tyjana Motley, 17, and an unborn baby died. Three other people in the car survived. At least two of the victims’ names match Facebook accounts in Philadelphia.

In many places where the cops aren’t allowed to chase crooks they STILL drive fast and crazy and crash. If the courts had been able to punish these people back when they started doing this crap at the age of 14, they might still be alive leading productive lives.
Oh well.
If we were serious about ending this senseless slaughter, we would criminalize Facebook.
Can’t tell if all of them were active participants or if one or more were innocent victims.Of course the baby was innocent!

That’s not a happy ending. Very sad, actually. Was it worth dying and killing your friends and an unborn baby to just to get away with stealing some overpriced Chinese made yoga pants?
There is a video of a criminal fleeing from police on a motorcycle. The title of the video is something akin to: This Is Why You Don’t Run From The Police. He crashed at very high speed.
While the motorcycle itself is ‘capable’ of high speeds, the motorcycle rider.....not so much. Also, no matter how good you are, or think you are, if you are on a public road, the other drivers are not there to just get out of the way. Another Darwin Award. At least they will not pass on the idiot gene.

“Stop, or I’ll shoot!” Somewhere along the way, they defanged law enforcement. Regardless, it will still fall apart if we as a society seemingly can’t agree on anything so simple and basic.
It is difficult for some people to comprehend, that most things we take for granted are not possible in ANY WAY without what has been termed a “high trust” society.
