Well good for them...then again - are they doing this, but also smoking joints?
I remember back in the late 80’s racing with my buddy’s to the liquor store and getting there at 10:59 to buy beer, one minute before closing.
Now the booze stores around me close at 9pm and tonight, a friday the place was dead at 8:45.
young people either don’t hang out together anymore or they hang but don’t drink or they just sit home alone and text each other..
....... OK ... So booze consumption is down .... But what they don't tell you is that Marijuana and hallucinogen use in the past year reported by young adults 19 to 30 years old has increased significantly.

In my younger days, I engaged in “mindless drinking”.
Who can afford it? A beer at the pub is $7. A six pack of good beer is $12. It is a crazy expensive habit.

The question worth asking is what has replaced the alcohol. I’m pretty sure it’s not prayer circles.
