I remember back in the late 80’s racing with my buddy’s to the liquor store and getting there at 10:59 to buy beer, one minute before closing.
Now the booze stores around me close at 9pm and tonight, a friday the place was dead at 8:45.
young people either don’t hang out together anymore or they hang but don’t drink or they just sit home alone and text each other..

I think a part of it is that our country was shut down due to covid-19, and they got used to texting each other, Snapchat and TikTok.

No need to go out and buy a drink.

In California, you can buy liquor at supermarkets and drug stores. Rite-Aid, Walgreens, CVS, they all have liquor aisles.

But they're not allowed to sell liquor between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.
