These fanatical regimes have to be destroyed. If they have used a weapon of mass destruction against the American public, we will have no choice.
Can anyone remember where the term '712' came from and what it means?
I think the following quote from that page is good example of why the guy that doesn't want us to listen to Harris is no more an authority on the subject than Harris himself. "Joyce details additional reasons why a Harris scenario is counterproductive and unlikely for terrorist organizations. Moreover, common sense would tell you that even Muslim hate/extremist groups would not be inclined to attack urban areas of the U.S. wherein the vast majority of their support emanates."We certainly know better than that, now don't we?
Comes from the "Andromeda Strain"
Diirective 7-12 (Some subpart, I forget which) "Contamination from a known biological agent occurs on unfriendly foreign soil. Cautery will be carried out without advance notification of the governments involved.

Certainly not impossible, and would serve to demoralize the masses.very important.
When we fought our war with Iraq we purposely decided to let the Iraqi regime survive knowing full well that logic showed us that they had the ability to destroy us. We humiliated them and let them survive to fight us another day even knowing that they could use their weapons to kill half of us one day if they had their way. We saw that Saddham wiped out whole villages of his own people who had opposed him and with these very types of weapons.
I don't think the Chinese philosopher Sun Yet Sen?? would approve of this strategy on our part.
Our own US Congress did in fact refuse to allow our forces to decisively defeat the Iraqi regime and then destroy all vestiges of their chemical/biological weapons. Instead we made a peace treaty where Saddham agreed not to develop these weapons. We knew for years that he was breaking that agreement. Our efforts to enforce the agreement have been reported to us by those Americans involved in those efforts as being ridiculous.
There are very strong parallels with the Roman Empire in the early 400's. Those Romans were incredibly arrogant towards everyone. Their troops had in fact massacred whole groups of these Huns in previous generations. The Huns were building huge military forces and the Romans merely laughed at them. But the Huns hated the Romans, when they attacked they destroyed it mercilessly, stealing, raping and killing all throughout all of Italy. Afterwards each little section of Italy was ruled by a local clique of criminals. When order was somewhat restored almost a thousand years after the initial destruction of Rome it was a very corrupt order as documented by Machiavilli in the late 1400's.
Our mistake was that 10 years ago we didn't presume that we could lose against Iraq and therefore we left open the possibility that he could destroy us. He may well do that. Let us all pray to god for it is only god that will or can protect us. We surely are not up to the task friends. We are the ones who sat by and arrogantly bragged about ourselves while our enemies were preparing to kill us before our very eyes. Anyone 10 years ago who pursued the argument that we should destroy Saddham because of the possibility of chemical/biological warfare was simply ignored in our nation out of arrogance, ignorance, myopia and intolerance.
That's one of the most interesting observations I've read since this whole crisis began.
There are a couple of other aspects of this "small is better" approach that are worth noting. (Although I don't want to give the bad guys any ideas.)
(1) For every outbreak, no matter how small, very large numbers of people have to be treated just to be safe. After a few small attacks, stocks of anti-biotics may become threateningly low. Future small attacks could become more difficult to treat, and future large attacks could then become even worse.
(2) When large numbers of people take anti-biotics, I believe there are often reactions to the antibiotics themselves. Not just normal allergic reactions. But antibiotics not only kill the bad germs, but also much of the "good" bacteria we have symbiotically living in our guts. Therefore peoples body chemistry gets screwed up and they become prey to other, oddball disfunctions.
(3) If the small attacks are planned strategically, they can generate what math types call a "butterfly effect" -- i.e., a small effect at one point of a system filters through the system getting amplified rather than damped. We saw how shutting the airlines down depressed the entire economy. If one or two choke points of a particular industry were targetted for bio-attack, something similar could happen as a result...
The scary thing is, I bet there are bio-chem tactics specialists who've not only thought all this kind of thing out in advance, but actually worked through simulations and such. I hope they're on the job now...

Danette, One ebay thread was pulled, THIS ONE remains active.
Did not know this....Interesting..thanks
The American Civil Defense Association's web site www.tacda.org under the heading Preparing For Terrorism In America by Kevin Brigg mentions that a product called "BioRadDefense ASAP Solution" manufactured by American Silver, LLC has been tested and approved by the microbiology researchers at BYU in Utah. BioRad Defense ASAP Solution is said to be much better than colloidal silver. It is not to be used instead of antibiotics, but would be good to have if antibiotics aren't available or can't be used by some people.
The site does not say where to obtain BioRad or where the company is located. Does anyone have any info on this?
