Forgive this "vanity" post. I have seen pictures of peace activists with Arafat in his office. I have heard about them confronting Israeli soldiers, but I have not heard one word about them going to coffee shops, hotels, and stores and, other places that suicide bombers target in Israel, to "stop" the "cycle of violence." Could someone tell me, are they cowards? Or do they know that the Israelis do everything possible to avoid innocent bloodshed, while the Arafat terrorists seek it out.
Do these peace activists realize that they are supporting the very people who envy what bin Laden's followers did on Sept. 11th? They are giving aid and comfort to the enemy. I sadly must admit that I know that are not ignorant of their actions.
Again, forgive this vanity post.

Hmmm.... now if only the Israeli Left could be expelled from Israel, the so-called "peace activists" would be the least of the beleagured country's troubles.

I'll tell you why the peace activists aren't in the coffee shops, hotels, restaraunts, markets, etc.
Because the cameras aren't there

I doubt it. Of course the peace of the grave is the ultimate peace. Its just like Shimon Peres and Yossi Beilin to be stupefyingly ignorant of the results of their Oslo handiwork.

NO, cause that's where the bombs are.

I thought they preferred "human shields." Obviously they are as stupid as so many Arabs are.

And exactly how do you propose that the peace activists should stop the cycle of violence? Should they somehow be able to recognize suicide bombers and talk them out of it? I am suggesting a one sidedness to their agenda. They do NOT care about peace, they are (as someone posted earlier) against the US, and Israel. They have not uttered a single word condemming the suicide bombings. If they are for "peace" how come the one quoted in the media spoke with admiration at the large handgun Arafat carried with him all the time during this "seige?"

It's peaceful inside Chinese prison camps.
It was peaceful inside the Soviet prison camps.
It's peaceful inside most Muslim prisons.
THE GOAL IS FREEDOM, NOT PEACE!

Peace Activist - another name for someone trying to trash freedom and bring in totalitarian government.

Yes, that's where the bombs are, but the peace activists seem more like attention whores to me. What peace activist doesn't want their picture next to Arafat. They sure don't want them next to the remains of dead Israeli civilians.

"And exactly how do you propose that the peace activists should stop the cycle of violence? Should they somehow be able to recognize suicide bombers and talk them out of it?"Oh, I don't know. Maybe they can sit down and sing "All we are saying is give peace a chance" or they can have a mass screw for peace, or .....

Want to protest against the suicide bombers but don't know who they are? Read the newspapers, ask the Jews, and go to the PLA rallies. You should get the picture if you cared.

If they have so many who are willing to do anything they can to stop the violence, have one sit in every cafe, pizza joint, etc. wearing one of these shirts:
Nah, they would just turn it into a shakedown.

Peace Activist
They won't go into Israel, unless Israel jails the terrorists. Then, they and the International Red Cross will be jumping up and down, claiming deplorable treatment and conditions for the jailed terrorists (a repeat of their song and dance at Gitmo a few months ago).
One report said that reporters accompanied the activists. As they left, they allowed some 20 detainees to join their group in an attempt to escape. IDF was waiting and separated the escapees.

Hi Comrade: Cold in Siberia today?
Jose Bove and 12 other arrested by Israeli army
'French farm union activist Jose Bove and a dozen other peace activists have reportedly been arrested by the Israeli army after meeting with besieged Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat this evening.'
Here's your Leftie hero!
Anti-Globaization Activist Jose Bove Is At It Again PORTO ALEGRE, Brazil - 'Jose Bove, the anti-globalisation activist who has been given an ultimatium to leave Brazil, revels in controversy. Already under threat of a prison sentence for his part in ransacking a McDonald's fast food outlet in his native France, Bove is a determined campaigner who refuses to compromise his firmly-held principles.
This time he is in hot water for leading an invasion by 1,300 Brazilian farmers of plantations run by US biotechnology firm Monsanto. They uprooted genetically-modified corn and soya bean plants, burned seeds and destroyed documents in the company's offices.'
Commie rent-a-mobs for Arafat!! LOL...

Stick Hitler's head on the above photo, convert it to black and white, and it could pass for a 30's picture.
