US security services are investigating possible new links between Iraq and the September 11 attacks. They have identified a new candidate as being the possible mastermind of the atrocity.
He was named as Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, a Kuwaiti-born member of Osama bin Laden's al-Qa'ida organisation and a blood relative of Ramzi Yousef, the key figure behind the first attempt to blow up the World Trade Centre in 1993.
The officials said they believed he was at large somewhere in the border region between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Mohammed had previously been implicated in the thwarted attempt by Yousef and others to blow up 12 airliners above the Pacific Ocean in 1995 and there were suspicions that he was involved in the bombings of the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998.
However, it had not been known for sure that he was involved with al-Qa'ida, let alone at such a high level.
Some hawks in the Bush administration anxious to launch a military invasion of Iraq believe that Yousef is in fact an Iraqi agent and that the man ultimately responsible for many of the terror plots of the past decade is Saddam Hussein.
The new information, suggesting that Mohammed was deeply involved in both the operational and financial planning of the September 11 attacks, came largely from captured al-Qa'ida members including Abu Zubeida, one of Osama bin Laden's closest lieutenants. ( Independent News Service)
Nothing in your post supports your assertion. And, even if she had been "discredited," what would that mean, coming from people who actually allowed the complete destruction of the World Trade Center, after it had already been attempted unsuccessfully by the very same people who pulled it off this time?

Anyone remember the interview that Bill O'Reilly did with James Woods, the actor, a few weeks after 9-11?
Woods described a trans-Pacific flight he took some time previously, where he noted some middle eastern men who looked and behaved suspiciously. He brought it to the attention of a flight attendant, and was later contacted by the FBI for an interview.
They told him (if memory serves) that he had provided a valuable lead.
Is it possible this incident is connected with the "attempted bombing of airliners over the Pacific"?

FWIW, your argument about "debunking the debunker" is humorous.
I think the world is FLAT, and until someone debunks this in a manner that I can accept, I'll continue to believe it.

Now, like you, I too have heard rumors. Some say Mylroie has been bought and paid for by the Mossad. Others claim she is a member of the CIA. I can neither confirm or reject these charges,,,,but I do know this.
Lauirie Mylroie is a political leftist who dearly wants to eliminate Iraq from the face of the earth.
To Mylroie and her fellow bloviators, I say before we place our armed forces into harms way, please show us concrete evidence connecting Iraq and 9-11.
A decade of hysterical rants just isn't enough.

Yeah, me too. If my memory serves me right (wishful thinking), I recall reading about this mastermind guy as being the same name as the financier they discovered months ago. Wish I could find the story. Anyway I'm with you on the timing of it all. Especially with Mohammad Atta in meeting the Iraqi in Prauge (sp?) story coming out again too.
