Barbara Walters assured us that the FBI is satisfied they were not spies. At least 20 times she "assured" us all is well. This was very moving story of innocent folk being harassed needlessly: TV and their lawyer explained almost evrything. There wasn't anything 'wrong' or susupicious about foreign middle-eastern nationals with overstayed visas and a thriving business to evaporate during the "assured" investigation by Foggy "we'll protect you" Bottom.

So, that's it! The most trusted women in America has spoken. A good offense is a better defense. Babs is a team player.

Circumstantial evidence and not all that great of a circumstance. If they were foreign nationals, could they open a bank account? Maybe you can get them on tax evasion, but having $5000 in cash is not such a big deal.

Boxcutters in a moving van? I have a couple dozen boxcutters in my warehouse and a few in my van. I need them to cut boxes down to size, likely they did too.

If they were "happy" about it, it reveals bad character I agree (and maybe she was wrong about what she saw). But maybe they were happy because they are loyal Israelis, and they realized that this meant that finally the USA was going to act against their enemy. As the guy said "We are not your problem, the Palestinians are". (Maybe not the Palestinians, per se, but Islamic Militants for sure, some of whom are Palestinian). If one guy said "Hey, now the USA is going to kick some Arab ass" his brother might say "Yeah!" and give him a high five. This could be easily misinterpreted if you only saw the actions of the high five from binoculars.
