Maybe the judge will disregard the prosecution's recommendation and throw the book at him.

Once upon a time, we hanged traitors.

Unless he is kept in protective isolation he won't last 6 months.

Only 40 years...that sucks...

If al Qaeda told this kid anything, they are even stupider than they appear at first glance. Of course this Johnnie Talibani was going to flip. It was just a matter of time.

He'll be lucky to escape death in prison...he'll need to be watched very closely by the guards or put in isolation somewhere.
To: EternalVigilance
So, basically, he'll be out on the college lecture circuit in 6-7 years. Nice.

Taliban Johnny is doing the latest dance craze of the imprisoned al Qaeda thugs, the "
FLIPPING AND ROLLING OVER YOUR ISLAMAKAZI BROS!" routine to avoid what could happen when some really bad evidence is presented at trial.
It might be time for the al Qaeda thugs, al Fuqra thugs and the Black Muslim thugs in America to go to Mexico, Canada or some other place.

So he turns on his former allies to save his sorry hide. What a weak kneed coward this man really is.
To: EternalVigilance
Screw him.
What does the government expect to learn from this loser?
That the Muslims hate us?
This young jerkoff was no high-ranking decision-maker, and we ought to fry him.

Aw, shucks! This sets the stage to give the savage Johnny Jihad (what is his muslim name anyway--that got lost in the legal shuffle) leniency--a few years in a minimum-security prison. He'll probably conduct islamic "evangelism" in prison--that's all we need! I doubt that he knows anything useful enough about the Taliban to make a plea bargain worthwhile, and I REALLY doubt that he has any remorse whatsoever for his traitorous actions!!!!

Not shocking, James Brosnahan did a good job for his client. The mere fact that the prosecution agreed to this indicates that Lindh has been useful as an intelligence tool. It also indicates that maybe the case against Lindh was not a strong as they would have liked considering Constitutional matters involved or the risk of such decisions or the case would seriously compromise sources and methods. Anyway you look at it there is more to this plea than what is being reported.

The SOB is a traitor and should be shot!!

Prosecutors are so anxious to win a case they probably would plea bargain with osama.
The only reason this punk did not throw the grenades at American soldiers was that he was caught before he could do so.
Once again, political correctness prevails. This will be seen as a sign of weakness by islam.
