Later Wednesday, civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson was to meet with the Hamas spiritual leader, Sheik Ahmed Yassin, in Gaza

I would love to see Israel use a missile to take both these guys out!

What percentage of palis vehicles are actually purchased legally? My observation is that except for stolen cars, all the palis would be walking. Of course, that is a generalization.

So many stolen cars are taken from America to Mexico. Many fancy stolen cars (SUVs) were found parked at a Mexican police station. It's the same with the Pallies. They thieve cars from Israel like there is no tomorrow.

i'm not sure how long israel is supposed to tolerate the murder of it's citizens, in this case it's future. the UN does nothing. this is the bizarro world where the true victims are seen as the villains. if there is a hell....the palestinians will surely rot for an eternity.

I think that Bush himself should go and meet with the PA, and deliver them an ultimatum face-to-towel. I'd tell Arafat, "You see those gunboats parked out there? That's right, the ones with the Stars and Stripes? Well, this is not a drill. You're on double-secret probation, porky. Any more bombs go off, those guns go off. Go ahead. Make my day."

No idea, but the car theft rate has dropped 80% with the intifadda. It is a lot harder to smuggle the cars back to the chop shops with police road blocks.

Excellent idea! GW's ratings would go out the roof in America.......global ratings?..........well, who cares?

If I'm not mistaken, this tax revenue is tax paid to ISRAEL by Palestinian workers who work there. Why the PA is entitled to any of it is beyond me, so this stuff about how the money is a "Palestinian right" is complete bs. Israel returns it to the PA as part of one of the peace agreements, so there should be ETERNAL conditions on it, and if it is being withheld dut to the intifada, the PA has no one to blame but themselves. And instead of crying about Israel withholding this money, the PA should be dipping into their own billions of foreign aid they have stolen from the Palestinian people.

You're right, Brytani, nice way to pay Israel back. Bottom line, it's never going to stop.

Nope. Paying extortion to blackmailers never works. There was a time Israel used to understand this lesson. The PLO is taking the money and sending the message to Israel, "yeah we'll murder Jews when we feel like it and want to and you wussies are too cowardly to stop us from doing it."

"Any more bombs go off, those guns go off."

Why does Israel need Uncle Sam to make the guns go off. Israel has enough armaments to make a parking lot out of the W. Bank.

Evil Palis are doing an excellent job of making Israel unliveable. With the streets emptied and everyone hunkered down, Israel's economy must just be in the dump.

Attacking the school is very symbolic. Attacking nightclubs is very symbolic. Attacking pizzarias ditto. They want to break the backs of the young people. They want them to emmigrate out of the ME. I don't see the old folks standing by idly. This attack may trigger some real harsh retribution. I suppose all out war is inevitable.

the UN does nothing...

Of course, that is not precisely true.

In a lawless enclave, such as the West Bank has become, normal people cannot function. Normal people will not remain to be ruled by killers, thus Palestinians are scattered all over the Middle East, and the rest of the world, working and raising their families.

The ones who have stayed behind are the ones who don't mind living under the rule of people such as the Arafat gang. Since there is no normal economy, normal people cannot function. The UN, and the NGO's, with EU funding, allow these people to hang on. They directly pay for Arafat's gang, and they subsidize the populace allowing a mass of angry, unemployed, and unemployable cannon-fodder to be available for further attacks.

Jackson is suppose to meet with the PA within the hour. He should NOT go, IMO, but he will.

And it'll just be a shame if he's there when the Israelis drop the bomb on the leaders of Hamas, won't it now?

I think I'm being sarcastic, sort of....

The Hamas leader is telling Jews to go back to the countries from which they came.

Israel should send Hamas back to where it came from:

HELL.

I'm just waiting for this type of thing to happen over here. I work at a university, and our student union/cafeteria seems to be the "meeting place" every afternoon for the ME students. Gives me the creeps.

Paying extortion to blackmailers never works.

Exactly why "land for peace" was a bad idea from inception. We'll be nice if you give us land...yeah, ok, sure.

I'm convinced Hamas doesn't want peace. They are incapable of running a country, they are morons, so they are doing everything in their power to PREVENT the creation of a Palestinian state. They are just a bunch of dickless, hairy-assed macho men who don't have a clue how to create, only destroy.

"This is a horrific act of terror," White House press secretary Ari Fleischer said. "Campuses around the world are places of learning and should be places of peace. This terrorist attack underscores the need for the Palestinian people, the Palestinian leadership, to take action to halt terrorism so that peace has a chance in the Middle East.
"The president is still determined to focus on finding ways to achieve peace in the Middle East."

Take your pathetic statement and stuff it, Ari. I've had enough of this administration's mealy, mincing words that end up coddling this barbaric race's murderous acts. It would be far better to have no comment at all than the pathetic continuation of the "Palestinians must do their best to reign in terror" and "let's give peace a chance" lines. It is no time for peace. It is time for action, and time for the enemy (the Palestinians) to be vanquished, once and for all.
