If Hamas is behind it, probably. Also in "response" to the IDF's removal of Shehada, and perhaps the Hebron riot.

You can't ask "Did this happen because" in these situations. When Israel does nothing, suicide bombers attack. When Israel cracks down, suicide bombers attack. When Israel makes concessions, suicide bombers attack.

It's not "what Israel does" but who these terrorists are. They are, in the words of the President, evildoers, and they will do evil with or without provocation.
