I watch this forum every day. Something significant apparently happened on January 22, 2002. The forum has suffered ever since - in the exact manner you described.
If we investigate, we will eventually discover what happened and fix it. Personally, I am hopeful that things will normalize soon and the funny stories, pics, and jokes will return.
