People would tend to be suspect of young girls going on overnights with priests or frequently being in their company

The point being missed on this entire debate is you don't put people who are sexually attracted to either their own sex or the opposite sex in postions where they have close contact or close personal supervision

That includes male heterosexuals with young girls or homosexuals with young boys

This common sense aspect is harly ever addressed

It always astounds me how the media, in it's perpertual state of idiocy and hatred of all things Christian, will never fail to infer that the problem was because the offender was a priest, and not because they were a homosexual pedophile disguised as a priest.
