Just wanted to let everyone vent at this idiot governor who couldn't get a gunlock off a gun in a well lit conference room, other than Grey out probably the most Anti Gun Governor going,

I told his secretary I'm damn pleased the piece of sh!t that pays no attention to government criminals is leaving.

Hey, I actually had a laugh the Parris believe you can mistake the "BOOM!" of a muzzle-loader for the "Craaaack!" of a .223!

His brother wasn't the only one is his family that went "that way."

Is this the Maryland Governor who cancelled hunting season in the counties near DC?

If it is...

...you need to get a life.

Banging on an anti-gun Governor is all well and fine but the move is a competent one. Grow the hell up.

B*tchy and condescending both in the same post. Do you work for the DNC? If not, you should. Your response displays a knack for nonsubstantive, slash-and-burn responses.

The governor's rash, constitutionally questionable, and overkill (no pun intended) response to the sniper incidents should be questioned. Nobody is hunting anywhere near where the sniper is roaming. Please explain why YOU think the move is "a competent one"?

If you're wandering in or near the woods and think that gunshot you just heard is a sniper, you: (1) probably shouldn't be in the woods in the first place, (2) probably aren't anywhere near a major road and if it is the sniper, he'll be easily caught if you call it in.

If you're in the middle of Bethesda and hear a gunshot, then: (1) that person is not hunting, (2)that person is endangering other people or defending themselves from a dangerous person, and police should be called.

No criminal (sniper or not) is going to heed this shooting ban. The only people this affects are law-abiding gun owners who use their guns responsibly.

That was one of my favorite photo ops of Glendening struggling to get the gun lock off a gun, eventually giving up and having a MD. State Police Officer remove it for him, LOL !!!!!!!

You should check out which of Glendening's political cronies
own stock in that gun lock corporation, I believe it was Saf-T-Lock, I think you would find it interesting.

Loserdopian are we?

Anyway...it was a good call. No need to waste local resources chasing down single shots from every direction.

Whether he is anti-gun or not...I dont know as I dont keep up with Maryland Politics [and dont care to know because Marylands Governor is Maryland's not mine]...but eitherway it was a good move.

He didnt take anyone's second amendment rights away...he said you cant hunt in four counties...if you got that bad a boner to sit out in the cold and shoot something then come on down to Virginia...we got plenty of space for ya.

Do you always shoot your mouth off, even if you're uninformed and ignorant?

No need to waste local resources chasing down single shots from every direction.

Why do you presume that anyone's hunting anywhere near populated areas in these counties? (especially since you admit to being ignorant of Maryland)

He's the same idiot that signed a de facto ban on handgun sales in MD by requiring that they use technology which will probably not exist when the law takes effect.

He is a problem for you...and you're a problem for the rest of us until you wake the f@ck up. You're in the Navy? Cripes!

Ugh...tedious...

Try former Third Award Expert Marine and NRA Member who's put more rounds in people than scurrying animals.

Anyway...

Like I was saying; shutting down hunting in the closest counties around DC isnt any infringment on second amendment rights. You cant make the connection...that is why you keep whining about the other things he has done.

If he is an anti-gun Governor then get him out of office instead of making up bogus charges about this subject.

SNIPER [fake] WITNESS CHARGED!

ROCKVILLE, Md., Oct. 18 — Police in Virginia charged a man Friday with filing a false police report in connection with his story of witnessing Monday night’s sniper shooting. Meanwhile, the head of the sniper task force urged potential witnesses to come forward, saying they shouldn’t be deterred by the prosecution of the discredited witness.

This wouldnt be one of you drips would it?

And shooting people (even in combat)is something to be proud of and brag about? Sure sounds like that's what you're doing. BTW, I've never been hunting in my life, so I've never put a round in any "scurrying animal".

Like I was saying; shutting down hunting in the closest counties around DC isnt any infringment on second amendment rights. You cant make the connection...that is why you keep whining about the other things he has done.

The Dems in Maryland have been incrementally infringing on the Second Amendment for years, and this is just another step, taken at a time when the right to own a gun is more important than ever for personal protection. Since you're not familiar with Maryland, I don't have an hour to cite everything Maryland has done to infringe on the 2nd amendment. If you want to have a reasonable conversation, look it up first.

If he is an anti-gun Governor then get him out of office instead of making up bogus charges about this subject.

What bogus charges have I made? Please specifically cite them.

I am currently working hard to get the Dems out of office in Maryland, as a member of Bob Ehrlich's campaign.

Now VaBthang4, I'm done with you and your ignorant, hot-headed attitude. Now take a deep breath, calm down, go take your meds if necessary... You sound like the prototypical hot-headed ex-Marine. Guys like you give all servicemen a bad name.

"And shooting people (even in combat)is something to be proud of and brag about?"

Oi...

No...pretending some Governor in Maryland is somehow stealing the 2nd amendment [Which in no way address' "hunting"] by cancelling this years fall hunting season in four [4] counties close to a sniper plagued DC....that's what I wish I could brag about.

LOL

And oh yeah....dropping Iraqis is something I brag about.

"The Dems in Maryland..."

Shutting down this year's fall hunting season in the closest counties around DC isnt any infringment on second amendment rights. You cant make the connection...that is why you keep whining about the other things he [now they] have done.

"I am currently working hard to get the Dems out of office in Maryland, as a member of Bob Ehrlich's campaign."

Yeah...how's that working out for ya?

If you're not a winner you're a.....?

"Now VaBthang4, I'm done with you..."

Thank you.

Nobody is hunting anywhere near where the sniper is roaming.

They're not, because Glendenning - at the request of local police - instituted a ban.
I live very near the area where the sniper is operating, and there are areas designated for hunting here. The majority of the population is urbanized, and would likely not know the difference between one gun shot and another. Nor would they recognize the kinds of guns the hunters are taking into the woods.

The police do not need to spend all the time and effort needed to check out every guy in a truck who is going hunting. The ones who really need a "hunting fix" can drive one county over. Hopefully, it will be just a short term ban, but the idea is to keep phone tips from overwhelming the police.
