Heads-up--ANSWER protests Jan. 29th

Just FYI--InternationalANSWER is trying to arrange anti-Bush protests on Jan. 29th, the day after the State of the Union address. (They can see the writing on the wall--it's all coming down next week.) So far, the only one actually scheduled is in New York City (5 PM in Times Square), but I'd be amazed if they didn't have one at least in San Francisco (my turf), and probably in a few other places.

I'll probably knock off work to counterdemonstrate, but I'd sure like company. I'll keep you posted if their plans become more solid.

Still no word from the good folks at "Act Now to Stop War and Support the Heroic Initiative of the Proletariate in Crushing the Bourgeois Splittest Running Dogs of the Dalai Lama", or whatever they're calling themselves...

I also can't be sure I'll make it on Saturday. Work is kind of crazy, I may not be able to take the afternoon off... so don't count on me.

Besides my Grand Ole American Flags, where can I / we get some Pro-America signs to counter all of the "NO IRAQ WAR" signs around??? Isn't their a Pro-America organization out there somewhere that has Pro-America, Pro-Military, Pro-Bush printed signs for sale? Does anyone out there know? I've been surfing he web and can't find anything!

The only pro-type signs I can think of come from the Republican Party, but they are usually too specific to races. Pro-American's seem to be BUSY Conservatives WORKING their arses off to support the non-tax paying....I'm not sure you could make enough money making pro-America signs....but just print my flags picture, and place it (or more) in your car window(s) - people around the US & beyond have told me they are doing the same.
