I imagine that the "shareholders" mentioned are the state and school distrcits which receive some fefderal funding based upon the number of students. Sickening

Please post a link to the actual article. Yours goes to a home page.

Then, we can get pings to the Freeper homeschooolers, so that the Arizona publik skoolers can get an understanding of what they are up against, when they start messing with us.

Earlier, when AFHE tried to get the legislature to approve a proclamation, House Democrats balked, with one saying openly that he had real concerns about parents educating their children!

I doubt it. 'Real concerns' about homeschooling parents 'depriving' the school districts of ADA money....'real concerns' that the politically correct indoctrination in the government schools' classrooms will not be forced upon homeschooling students.....'real concerns' that homeschooling students quite possibly will grow up NOT being government-worshipping statists....all these things I'd believe.

But 'real concerns' about parents educating their own? Right.

As long as home schoolers could be marginalized and denounced as kooks, the left didn't care. Now that significant numbers of parents have proven that homeschooling is far superior to pubic ejukashun, and that more and more people are demanding to be able to spend their own tax money on the school they want, the left is going from benevolent big brother to dictatorial tyrant.

There is a need to greatly reduce the power and size of the Teacher's Union and give homeschoolers most of that money.
