The screen actors guild says that we shouldn't boycot "stars" that are anti American and anti war. The guild says it would be a return of McCarthyism. I say it is a right here in America to protest anything we see as wrong.
These pampered actors and actresses are biting the hand that made them rich. I for one will refuse to pay anything to watch these dumbasses that portray the U.S. in a bad light.
I hope all you corps. out there hear this message and deal accordingly.
Not only will I boycott products that are plugged by these shameful buttheads, I will protest them when I see them. That goes for politicians too.

Martin Sheen is one of my short list of celebrities for whom a ChiComm replacement is a step up!

the only bad thing is that people will see this as validation of "blacklisting."

Blacklisting my butt -- it's purely a market-driven decision. You know, that free enterprise thingy?

If these clowns want to express their extreme leftist political positions, let 'em become spokesmen for "Ben and Jerry's"

The commercial is one of the most annoying things I've ever seen.

It was cute (on the low average end of the bell curve) the first 5 or so times it ran. Now its just more electronic noise to tune out.

I wish I could find a list of the Hollywood celebrities who do voice-over commercials for products they openly consider destructive to the environment and evil.

I know Martin Sheen does voice-overs for some kind of automobile, and so does James Garner. I know Garner's ad is for a big suv, and I heard him say to Charlie Rose that he's a liberal, but he's not active, he said. He works so his wife can support her politically liberal projects.

They are all such hypocrits! And we have no idea how many commercials they do for foreign television.

THAT Slycraft.com has a new product, "The Surrender Flag," which Americans can buy as a gift for Saddam Hussein's Republican Guard. The $10 price includes a lapel pin which states "I Give Up," and shipping to Baghdad "as long as that remains a viable address"

Made in France.

And Hollywood doesn't do exactly the same thing to a conservative actor who expresses his or her views? (Unless you are certified draw like Ahhnold or Mel Gibson)

And doesn't the Left excoriate anyone with opposing views?

Guess those Godless b@st@rds never figured out the meaning of do unto others...and they obviously don't like having it done unto them...

Good. Now we have to concentrate on that low-life retard Danny Glover, the man with the mushroom brain, and his MCI gigs.

It takes an army of FReepers to counter 1 propagandist. The power of propaganda has gone unchallenged until recently. Propaganda is not subjected to the marketplace of ideas, hence the popularity of FreeRepublic and talk radio. They are real eye-openers exposing the vastness of the vacuous.

From the "Big Book" of Alcoholics Anonymous, pg. 132:

We have been speaking to you of serious, sometimes
tragic things. We have been dealing with alcohol in its
worst aspect. But we aren't a glum lot. If newcomers
could see no joy or fun in our existence, they wouldn't
want it. We absolutely insist on enjoying life. We try
not to indulge in cynicism over the state of the nations,
nor do we carry the world's troubles on our shoulders.
When we see a man sinking into the mire that is alcoholism,
we give him first aid and place what we have
at his disposal. For his sake, we do recount and almost
relive the horrors of our past. But those of us who
have tried to shoulder the entire burden and trouble of
others find we are soon overcome by them.

I have prayed for Mr. Sheen this morning.

The Ireland Tourism Bureau still runs an ad Sheen narrates. They should be next.

Oh, you've got to be kidding. I don't even like professional basketball and I find it to be hilarious. Especially when Yogi Berra shows up at the end and the same thing happens.

These actors want to protest Bush, conservatives in general. But when they get the same exact treatment back, they whine about being blacklisted. If you encourage people to "boycott/protest/blacklist" our President/Troops and what they are doing to protect these very same people, expect to be boycotted/protested/blacklisted.

Isn't is amazing that a communist is still be used to promote Visa but an American is removed because of his anti American stance.
