Meeting Assembled By Conyers Mulls Seeking Bush's Impeachment Over Iraq Thu Mar 13 2003 10:30:03 ET
House Judiciary ranking member John Conyers (D-Mich.) assembled more than two-dozen prominent liberal attorneys and legal scholars on Tuesday to mull over articles of impeachment drafted against President Bush by activists seeking to block military action against Saddam Hussein. ROLL CALL is reporting on Thursday.
MORE
The two-hour session, which featured former attorney general-turned-activist Ramsey Clark, took place in the downtown office of a prominent Washington tort lawyer. Participants said Conyers, who hosted the meeting, was the only Member of Congress to attend. 'We had a pretty frank discussion about putting in a bill of impeachment against President Bush,' said Francis Boyle, an Illinois law professor who has been working on the impeachment language with Clark.

Let 'em try. They will be rejected by their own caucus, which will make them look even weaker.

Impeach Conyers.
While we're at it, impeach Clinton. At least deprive him of his pension. After all, he MADE this mess. Had OBL been an intern he would have nailed him.

The strange thing is that the Socialist organizations used to have a hard time getting anyone to follow them. But now it seems like they are really starting to get a huge following in this country! I am really surprised that the DUers/peaceniks would rather give their time and money to the Socialist organizations rather than try to build up their own Democreep base. They have really abandoned the Democreeps!

Conyers spelled backwards is Sreynoc which is Greek for Peta puffin gay liberal jackaz.
To: Flurry
That would be too good to be true! The way things work, they would be presenting their papers during the victory parade!
To: areafiftyone
They have really abandoned the Democreeps! Yes and no. Although they bitch and moan about the Rats not being liberal enough for them, they grudgingly admit they will accept a loser like Lieberman who makes them puke. They have no scruples or ideals. The only thing that motivates them is anything that is anti-Bush. An example of how low they will go is they have been cheering on Pat Buchanan lately.
As long as they keep up this lame surrendering of their ideal world, they have no real future and will remain the annoying gnats that they are.
that's what makes the Frenchocrat Whore/Green-Nader fights over at DUmmyland so much fun to read.

There are fewer and fewer Liberal Democrat politicians these are out and out Socialists. This kind of behavior may or may not not bother the rank and file Liberals, but it will cost them a lot of independent/undecided votes.

And this bill would get as many co-sponsors as the one to withdraw the Iraq resolution--right around 30. I would love to see this brought up at the Judiciary Committee, though, if only to see it go down in flames. It'd be most entertaining.

They won't accept Lieberman at all. They don't like him. They are leaning towards Dean or (if he runs) HART! Kerry or Kucinich is their second choice!

About time. How many more stakes need to be driven through the Constitution before the congressional $hitheads wake up.
Has it slipped your mind that if it weren't for the French, we would still be subjects of King George?.

I can't speak to how many French soldier's died during the Revolution, nor exactly how many American, Canadian, British and French soldiers are buried in Normandy. I do know that one of my relatives is interned there.
Tell you what slick, go check out a Veteran's Cemetary somewhere near wherever you live and tell me it's as well maintained as the one in Normandy.
Get real, you're making the rest of us look like morons.
