We are in Santa Fe the next few days on business and can only get pmsnbc and cnn - no Fox. Oy, it is great to read this thread to keep in touch with my Fox and Friends. By the way, you guys, this is a target rich environment for battling the "peace" protestors.

There is nothing in the constitution that says we cannot protest our government, economy or our leaders.

First of all, please capitalize the word Constitution, if you are referring to the US Constitution. If you are just referring to somebody's general health, you don't need to.

Secondly, show me where anybody on this thread is advocating the supression of free speech. (My own tag line excepted, naturally)

....and just because they have a right to express their vies does not mean others can't point out how silly and dubious their words and actions are.

Yes, Fox, and FR, and me and you can criticize the words and actions of others who are expressing themselves - its called "free speech".

Well, off to work I go.

(Probably the most glaring difference between us and them . . .)

Have a good day, everyone. Fight the good fight, keep the faith, educate yourself and your children, work hard, earn lots of money, keep our country chuggin' along.

(That's the best way to insure they don't win.)

another sign that said "I'll support our troops when they shoot our soldiers"

Actually, I believe the sign read, "I'll support our troops when they shoot their officers".

A friend of mine lives in Manhattan, and he said most of these folks don't even live in New York - they are out of state students and people who drive in to take part.

The people that live and work in Manhattan are ticked big time. Look for violence to follow shortly.

I have noticed a shift in tone in all of the big 3 in the last 24 hours. Prior to the last 24 hours they have been their normal selves and I could hardly watch the broadcasts. They were painting such a desperate picture of the war I was beginning to believe we were losing. In the last 24 hours I think the reality of what they are learning from the embedded reporters is revealing the character and nature of the Iraqi soldiers. They are seeing that our guys are confronting a despicable enemy. They are not being nationalistic in any way - heaven forbid - but they at least are showing the good things that our soldiers are doing, identifying the chicken **** tactics of our enemy and doing more to support our trooops and their families. They still say and do stupid things (the news) but it's not nearly as bad as the first week. The news is actually watchable. I'm still getting cable.

Just because we might not agree with there opinion, doesn't mean they should not be able to express it.

Just because they're sponsored by communists and anarchists doesn't mean FNC should not be able to expose it.

The Truth will make you free...

I hope the mainstream media starts to "frame the protests" the way Fox News did..."

Being purposefully inconvenienced drives NYers crazy. They may have overplayed their hand this time. I hope so.

There is nothing in the constitution that says we cannot protest our government, economy or our leaders.

You could not be more correct. I also have the right to expose your motives and to say just as loud that your views are wrong.

"Oklahoma Socialist Cooperative, Oklahoma"

And people say Oklahoma is full of Conservatives! Yeah Right! The fact of the matter is that Oklahoma is full of Southern Democrats. Many of whom don't vote. Thankfully that is why we still remain a Republican majority.

I agree. That kind of behavior is unacceptable on both sides.

Both sides?

Example, please?

Good job!

International ANSWER is an arm of World Workers Party which, before the fall of the Soviet Bloc, used to be called the Communist Party, USA. They were directly funded out of Moscow.

Oh please. FOX News has 2.5 TIMES more viewers then the next channel - cable and network. Programming is also stealing from networks.

If you have a beef with the programming, take it up with the American public.

As for the protesters, they can protest all they want.

However, why should they get press and publicity? It isn't a story so much as a fable.

If they disrupt Wall Street, they should be indicted as terrorists and then charged with threats to our national security, interfering in inter-state commerce, etc.
