Intervention, she condemns the human tendency toward pessimism and malice as "Satan's game."

She should know, she is Satan's whore.

"She's very self-possessed, and she can be very demanding. Sometimes, I get so frustrated with her, and I realize she's a reflection of me. Oh, now I see what I put everybody else through."

Her daughter sounds just like her still. She hasn't changed. It's still all about her.

I wonder what she will be when she is a teenager and ask her "mother": "Can I do that too?"

Isn't the Kabbalah something that was reserved for Jewish men in their later years after decades studying the Torah? Wasn't it a study that needed a firm grasp of Judaism before attempting the mystical realm of the religion?

These New Age folk don't like to do the hard work that leads to spiritual development, do they? They kind of like the MTV version.

She's butt-fugly, says Slyfox.

Madonna is nothing more then a cliche'. Become a star, exploit yourself, make millions, and then find religion. Typical vapid life of hollywood.

We live in a society that seems to value only physical things, only ephemeral things.

What counts isn't what some amorphous entity named "society" values, what counts is what the individuals making it up value. A disproportionate number of those in the entertainment business have, as a result of the glorification of youth, lived much of their petty lives in a state of arrested adolescence, which accounts in part of the pettiness and trendiness of the causes to which they are so easily drawn. Here is a 44-year-old woman finding, at last, that the rest of us weren't taking the "material girl" act as seriously as she was. It's something.

But frankly, I suspect she has a way to go - portraying a hand grenade in Bush's lap as "lighthearted and ironic" argues either a stunted vocabulary or a stunted sense of humor.

I'm supposed to value the musings of a girl who spent 20 years looking for a lost glove?

I see the faint outline of a psychological meltdown in progress, as she wriggles in a vain attempt to rationalize the gross things she's done in the past. She could crack-up big time! For example, how'she gonna deal with it when one or both of her two children {whom she obviously loves} ask her about that lewd book?

"My husband doesn't take anything at face value," she says. "When I met him, he was totally into Charles Darwin's theory of evolution. He made me question my values as a Christian."

She's no Christian. She mocks everything that is part of the "good news" . Her "values" are anything but Christian. A Christian woman doesn't parade around like a whore or put out o book that would make a gyn blush. Modesty isn't a trait of her personality. She is as someone else put it "Satan's whore".

I hate Madonna, but give the devil her due. In an volatile record industry that can make-or-break an artist Madonna has somehow survived for over 20 years.

Of course, Madonna's great epiphany is something that we, the great unwashed, figured out a LOOOOONG time ago.

Been there, done that. Fame don't bring happiness? Gee--that's something that most people won't ever get to experience, but thanks for sharing ... it was keeping me up at nights.

I love it when teenagers or idiots or liberals come up with these sweeping and very basic pronouncements as if no one in the course of history has EVER thought of them before. Gee, dontcha know WAR IS BAD? MONEY ISN'T EVERYTHING? BEER KILLS BRAIN CELLS (sorry, had to throw a Simpsons reference in there.) and so on, and so on...

Morons, each and every one of them...

Indeed! A cunning whore parading around as a singer that can't sing worth a dam. Just goes to show how our culture has declined in making this whore a "success".

"Everything physical is an illusion, but it's there to guide us or test us or deter us."

Another Hollywood person reads a book and now breathlessly needs to educate the vulgar masses.

Do these people seriously not understand how superficial they sound to normal humans?

If she wants to know the meaning of life, read the Book of Ecclesiastes. Pay particular attention to chapter 12, verses 13-14

" Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."
