He also tried to make it seem like the GOP is behind the Confederate Flag. There are many elected Democrats that support the flying of that flag, and many blue dog Democrats who want to keep the flag too.

Well, to be truthful, I have a Confederate Battle Flag that I bought at the concession stand at the 1970 Sugar Bowl.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the flag. But any backlash that the flying of it causes should be not borne exclusively by the GOP. There are many Democrats that fancy that flag, and I think Clinton is using it to inflame blacks and white NE and suburban voters.

Cruelty to animals?

Oh yeah, Socks--given away. Buddy--"got loose." I'm not sure, however, that those acts are actually crimes that fit the definition of "cruelty to animals"--but it'll do in my mind. You don't do that or that to animals you've made part of the family.

Astonishingly, that's the only one I had to think about.

My point is that a hard punching, entertaining documentarian would do us good. We could get the truth out.

We need to put to bed the stereotype of the stodgy, dull Republican.

As much as I hate Bill Maher, his new show on HBO, is edgy and entertaining and the demographic that it is directed to thinks all Republicans are Jerry Falwell clones. I think FOX and Rush do a great job, but we have to also reach the portion of the public that wouldn't watch/listen to either if their lives depended on it.

All I'm saying, that class in Arkansas bugged the hell out of me. I can't believe those people ate up his BS like they did. Like Rush says, they must really hate conservatives to still support Clinton.
