I agree- one of my neighbors is a gay woman, and she's so far removed from this garbage it isn't funny. The people you see here are nothing like most of the gay folks I have known.

That said, the people in this parade are the visible edge of a movement trying to wedge itself into every cranny of our culture. We need to be aware of this.

I know it's petty and ungracious, but those were some of the ugliest naked people I have had the misfortune to see in quite a long time... my Dad always said "you should hide it unless you have something to be proud to display," and once again, the old guy was dead right.

I have always wondered that, because my empirical view is that it's more like 2-4%... say 3% average.
