My thoughts exactly. The best the geldings at the Weekly Standard could do was a joke about castration.

Check the composition and lighting of the photograph. I would not put my name to such a shoddy piece of work even in email to friends (well, OK, I would but I would apologize for it).

Thin people tend to live longer. It's easier on the heart. So long as she remains energic, she is very healthy. And I want Ann to live a very long time. One day, God willing, way down the road, she's our next Shlaffly, although with the Information Age still not quite at the maturity stage, Coulter could be much, much more.

I knew the McCarthy debate would be a firecracker. That's the root of all this. It's important to not go overboard in defending McCarthy, but at the same time, his information was based on Federal papers.

Now I admit that I don't look as closely at Ann's photos as some of the opposite gender would!I see what you mean by the lighting and composition.Seems Ann has the establishment all aflutter!

Well, durn.... It's a parody.

As a food (and other stuff) writer, I thought maybe there was a chance I'd find a conservative editor. ;)

I don't understand why that is in there (it doesn't jump out at me as something especially humorous, because Ann doesn't strike me as a castrating bitch).

Methinks the writers at the Weekly Standard are projecting their own castration anxieties onto Ann.

Well, I suppose this could be classified as cute and clever coming from
"The Weekly Standard", but I would have preferred a spoof of JFK,Jr's magazine, "GEORGE", rather than one comparing Ann to Martha Stewart's "LIVING".

We're talking smart politics here, not household hints.
Let's not let even "The Weekly Standard" marginalize Ann.
